Connectors
The services your code can act in through Mintis. Each connector is a document its publisher signed, and a host pins it by version.
Table 1 Connectors, by name29 entries
Apple Shortcuts
Run shortcuts you made in the Shortcuts app, on the Mac, iPhone or iPad that Mintis runs on. Name a shortcut exactly Mintis 1 to Mintis 6 and it appears as Shortcut 1 to 6; a flow can also run a shortcut by any name. Mintis can't see what a shortcut does, so every run asks you to confirm. Never make a shortcut that calls for help, moves money or moves the body, such as a bed, hoist or wheelchair. Mintis must never be the only way to call for help.
Call mute
Mute or unmute yourself in a Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call, with each application's own shortcut, on a Windows or Mac computer (Zoom on Linux too). The call must be in front: the keys go to whatever has focus. Each press switches between muted and unmuted, so check which you are before you speak. Everyone in the call hears the change, so each run asks you to confirm.
Clip that
Save the last moments of the game you are playing as a clip, with Xbox Game Bar or the NVIDIA app on a Windows computer. Background recording (Game Bar) or Instant Replay (NVIDIA) must already be on; you set how long a clip is in that application. Clips stay on your computer.
Custom webhook
Send an event, like "I'm home", to your own Zapier, Make or n8n automation. Connect with the webhook's public https address on port 443; addresses on your home network don't work yet. For n8n, use a POST Webhook node's Production URL and turn the workflow on. Mintis can't see what your automation does, so every send asks twice. Never build one that calls for help, moves money or moves the body, such as a bed, hoist or wheelchair. Mintis must never be the only way to call for help.

Discord
Post a set message, or words you dictate, to a Discord channel. In the channel's settings, open Integrations, then Webhooks, then New Webhook, and connect with its URL. For a forum, add ?thread_id= and the thread's ID. Messages never ping @everyone, @here, roles or people. Not for emergencies: a message can go unseen.

Turn a Focus such as Do Not Disturb on and off on the Mac that Mintis runs on, through two shortcuts you make once in the Shortcuts app: one named exactly Mintis Focus On, with the Set Focus action turning your Focus on, and one named exactly Mintis Focus Off, turning it off. Mintis can't see what those shortcuts do, so each run asks you to confirm. A Focus silences notifications, a carer's messages included. Mac only for now.
DummyJSON
Demo connector on the public DummyJSON sandbox: browse quotes and recipes, search products, or add an item to try a confirmed write. No account needed.
Provider website for DummyJSON, opens in a new tabGame input
Presses a key in the game that has focus on a computer, for one-button and turn-based games where one deliberate press is the whole move, such as Space to jump. Which keys is the carer's choice, set ahead of time in a preset or a flow. Not for games that need fast or held input.

Home Assistant
Your Home Assistant lights and temperature sensors, whatever their brand: see which lights are on, switch them all on or off, dim or brighten them, and read the temperatures. Mintis finds Home Assistant on your home network and talks to it directly with a long-lived access token from your Home Assistant profile; the registry never reaches it.

IFTTT applets
Run applets you built in IFTTT. Give an applet the Webhooks trigger "Receive a web request" with an event name from mintis_1 to mintis_6, and it appears as Applet 1 to 6; you can also type any event name. Needs IFTTT Pro and your Webhooks key, from the Webhooks service's Documentation page. Mintis can't see what an applet does, so every run asks twice. Never build an applet that calls for help, moves money or moves the body, such as a bed, hoist or wheelchair. Mintis must never be the only way to call for help.

LIFX
Your LIFX lights: see which are on, switch them on or off, dim or brighten them. Each change sets a state rather than toggling, so a repeat does no harm.
Provider website for LIFX, opens in a new tabMedia keys
Play, pause and skip in whatever is playing on this computer or Android phone: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or Netflix in a browser, Audible. Works like the media keys on a keyboard, with any player that answers them. Not on iPhone or iPad.

Microsoft Teams presence
Set how you show in Microsoft Teams: Do not disturb, busy, be right back, away or available, for a while or until it lapses, then let Teams decide again. Work or school accounts only. Teams shows the status you set only while you are signed in to Teams somewhere; otherwise you show as offline.

Netatmo heating
Your Netatmo heating: hear the room temperatures, put the whole home on its schedule, away or frost guard, set one room to a temperature, boost it, or send it back to the schedule. You connect it by signing in to your Netatmo account. It works with Netatmo thermostats and valves; Legrand Home + Control lights, plugs and shutters are not included.

Nuki
Your Nuki smart locks: see which doors are locked, lock or unlock one, or open the door. Unlocking and opening ask twice. The lock needs Nuki Web, over its own Wi-Fi or a Nuki Bridge, and acts a few seconds after each command.

Open-Meteo
The weather where you are: conditions now, and today's high, low, chance of rain, sunrise and sunset. No account needed.
Provider website for Open-Meteo, opens in a new tabPage turn
Turn to the next or previous page in the Kindle app for Windows, a PDF reader or a web page, on a computer. The book or page must be in front: the keys go to whatever has focus. In a web page each turn scrolls one screen.
Screenshot
Take a picture of the whole screen with the Mac's own shortcut. It is saved to your desktop, or wherever you chose in the Screenshot app. Mac only for now.

Shelly
Switch Shelly plugs and switches on or off through Shelly Cloud. Connect with your server and authorization cloud key from the Shelly app (User settings, then Authorization cloud key); the key changes when your Shelly password does. Not for relays on gates or doors.

Slack
Pause your Slack notifications for a while and turn them back on, set a status or show yourself as away, and post a set message, or words you dictate, to a channel you are in. You sign in to Slack once; everything happens as you, in that workspace. Not for emergencies: a message can go unseen.
Provider website for Slack, opens in a new tabSlides
Next and previous slide in the slideshow you are presenting, in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, on a computer. The slideshow must be running and in front: the keys go to whatever has focus.

SwitchBot
Open or close SwitchBot Curtains and see how far closed they are, or have a SwitchBot Bot press its button. Needs a SwitchBot Hub with Cloud Service on (Third-party Services, in app 9.0 and later).
Provider website for SwitchBot, opens in a new tab
Tasker
Run Tasker tasks you made on your Android phone, through the Join app. Give a Tasker profile a Join push with the text mintis_1 to mintis_6 as its trigger, and it appears as Task 1 to 6; you can also send any command text. Needs Join on the phone and your Join API key, from the Join website. Mintis can't see what a task does, so every run asks twice. Never make a task that calls for help, moves money or moves the body, such as a bed, hoist or wheelchair. Mintis must never be the only way to call for help.
Provider website for Tasker, opens in a new tab
Telegram
Send a set message, or your own words, to a person or group through your own Telegram bot. Make a new bot just for Mintis with @BotFather and connect its token; a bot another program already uses may return empty lists. People and groups show up once they've messaged the bot in the last 24 hours. Not for emergencies: a message can arrive late or go unseen.
Provider website for Telegram, opens in a new tabThings
Add a set to-do to the inbox of Things 3, the task manager by Cultured Code, on the Mac, iPhone or iPad that Mintis runs on. The first time, Things asks whether to enable Things URLs: answer Enable. Adding needs no token, and nothing already in Things is changed.

Todoist
Today's tasks, and anything overdue, from your Todoist account.
Provider website for Todoist, opens in a new tab
Tuya and Smart Life
Switch the plugs and lights in your Smart Life or Tuya Smart app on or off, and hear whether they are on. Needs a Tuya cloud project of your own, linked to your app account: connect with its Access ID and Access Secret (Cloud, Project Management, Overview on platform.tuya.com) and pick the data centre the project uses. Not for plugs or switches on gates or doors.
Provider website for Tuya and Smart Life, opens in a new tab
Twilio SMS
Send a text message from your own Twilio account and number. Connect with your account address: https://api.twilio.com/2010-04-01/Accounts/ followed by your Account SID (it starts with AC), and nothing after it. For another Twilio region, swap in its API host, such as api.dublin.ie1.twilio.com, and its credentials. Sign in with the Account SID and Auth Token, or an API key SID and secret. The recipient, your number and the text are typed, so send it from a flow, or from a computer or phone you can type on. Twilio charges your account for every text, and a trial account only reaches verified numbers. It is not a way to call for help: a text can arrive late or not at all, so never make Mintis the only way to call for help.
Provider website for Twilio SMS, opens in a new tab
Voice Monkey
Run your Alexa routines through Voice Monkey, listed by the names of their Routine Trigger devices. Connect with an API token from the Voice Monkey console (API Tokens); a v2 account must move to v3 first. Mintis can't see what a routine does, so every run asks twice. Never build a routine that calls for help, moves money or moves the body, such as a bed, hoist or wheelchair. Mintis must never be the only way to call for help. The free plan's 200 calls a month cover about 100 runs.

To call a connector, sign up free and pair your computer. Your own code then calls any of these with the pairing token: the connector’s directive, the action’s vector, and an Idempotency-Key for anything that writes. DummyJSON needs no provider account and is the one to try first. The API reference is on request.
To publish your own, write to us. A connector says which actions your product allows and how much confirmation each needs. Mintis wrote the first ones; early publishers go through the same review.
